Reporting:

This position reports to the Engine Shop Supervisor.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of CT7 Engines & components (i.e. batteries, wheels and brakes) at the Wagga Wagga workshop.
  • Ensuring all maintenance work is performed to the highest standard, in a timely manner and in accordance with the appropriate approved data
  • Upkeep of workshop & equipment
  • Completion of appropriate documentation
  • Travel to other ports to assist with on wing engine maintenance

 Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Cert 4 in a mechanical trade
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • A demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work under independently and adhere to deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of WHS procedures
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent computer skills
  • Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Wagga Wagga N.S.W.
  • High level of visual acuity

Preferred Selection Criteria:

  • Cert 4 in mechanical trade industry or Cert 4 in Aeroskills-mechanical
  • CASA B1.1 Licence
  • GE CT7 or other Gas turbine engine experience
  • Knowledge of CASA regulations

Conditions:
